NEW FOR 2012:

– Rear-wheel drive 550-2 Coupe and Spyder
– 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale

For 2012, the Lamborghini Gallardo includes a rear-wheel drive 550-2 coupe and Spyder convertible. There is also a 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale, a top-line model honouring the Blancpain Super Trofeo race car, and limited to 150 vehicles worldwide. It produces the same power as the Superleggera but has faster acceleration time.

The Lamborghini lineup consists of the rear-wheel drive 550-2 Valentino, and the all-wheel drive LP560-4, LP560-4 Spyder, LP570-4 Superleggera, LP570-4 Spyder Performante, and LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale.

All models use a 5.2-litre V10 engine. All but the Spyder Performante use a six-speed manual transmission, which can be optioned to a sequential six-speed “e-gear” transmission with steering wheel-mounted paddles. The automatic is the sole choice on the Spyder Performante. The 550-2 Valentino is rear-wheel drive, while all others are all-wheel drive.

Features include 19-inch wheels, dual-zone climate control, bi-xenon headlamps, LED running lights, leather or Alcantara seats, multimedia system with USB connector, and power-adjustable seats. Available options include a carbon fibre trim package, ceramic brakes, rearview camera, Bluetooth connectivity, and a lift system that elevates the front suspension for driving over bumps.
