Yes, there are two special editions

Toyota Canada is gearing up to celebrate 50 years of operation in Canada. That means the biggest automaker in the world will be rolling out a few special edition Corolla models only available here in the Great White North.

If you opt for the Corolla S, you can pick one of two limited special edition packages. The first 50th Anniversary Edition pack includes 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels with unique black gloss finish; rear disc brakes; and unique red interior stitching. The other package adds the same components along with automatic air conditioning and moonroof.

Outside of these two packages, changes to the Corolla are fairly minimal for 2015. Corolla LE and LE ECO models receive a fresh front grille treatment and fold-down rear-seat armrest. Corolla S also gets the same armrest treatment for rear passengers.

The 2015 Toyota Corolla is available in seven models, as follows:

Corolla CE – six-speed manual (starting MSRP: $15,995)
Corolla CE – four-speed automatic (starting MSRP: $18,400)
The Corolla CE is offered with a choice of transmission and comes well equipped with a list of standard features typically found on class-up vehicles – including dual vanity mirrors, map lamps, remote trunk release, a 12-volt accessory power outlet, and more.

  • The Corolla CE with manual transmission may be enhanced with an available Air Conditioning package. Air conditioning is standard on the Corolla CE with automatic transmission.

Corolla LE – CVTi-S (starting MSRP: $19,725)
The Corolla LE has a continuously variable transmission for inspired performance and efficiency, plus an enviable list of standard features – including 6.1” touch-screen Display Audio, 6 speakers, an ECO driving indicator, cruise control, air conditioning, back-up camera, heated front seats, automatic headlamp system, and more. New this year, the LE receives a fresh front grille treatment and a fold-down rear-seat armrest.

  • An available Upgrade Package adds: A leather-wrapped steering wheel; 16” aluminum alloy wheels with locks; automatic air conditioning; a power tilting/sliding moon roof; and fog lamps.

Corolla S – six-speed manual (starting MSRP: $19,365)
Corolla S – CVTi-S (starting MSRP: $20,350)
Sporty and stylish, the Corolla S offers spry performance, advanced technology, and a premium interior. Whether equipped with a six-speed manual or a CVTi-S with paddle shifters, every Corolla S is loaded with S-exclusive features – including front sport seats, sport fabric seat material with leatherette trim, a sport speedometer, sport front and rear fascia, a rear lip spoiler and more. Additional standard features include heated front seats, chrome exhaust tip, 6.1” Display Audio, 3.5” TFT multi-information display, leather-wrapped steering wheel, integrated signal lamps, fog lamps, automatic headlamp system, and more. New this year, the Corolla S receives a fold-down rear-seat armrest.

The Corolla S may be enhanced with a choice of available packages:

  • The Upgrade Package adds: 17” aluminum alloy wheels with locks; rear disc brakes; automatic air conditioning; and a power tilting/sliding moon roof.
  • The Technology Package builds on the Upgrade Package, adding: integrated SiriusXM Satellite Radio; AVN Premium Navigation; an eight-way power adjustable driver’s seat; Softex Leather seating surfaces; the Smart Key System with Push Button Start; and an electro-chromatic rear view mirror with integrated digital compass.

Alternatively, the Corolla S may be enhanced with a choice of two special packages to celebrate 50 years of Toyota in Canada. Available for a limited time only, made in Canada and available in Canada only, each is available in several colour combinations, including an exclusive Absolutely Red exterior:

  • The 50th Anniversary Special Edition package adds: 17” aluminum alloy wheels with unique black gloss finish; rear disc brakes; and unique red interior stitching.
  • The 50th Anniversary Special Edition with Moonroof package builds on this, adding: automatic air conditioning; and a power tilting/sliding moon roof.
