Mississauga, Ontario – Subaru Canada has announced pricing for the all-new 2010 Legacy, which will start at $23,995.

The new Legacy is the roomiest and most refined yet, and is available with two new transmissions: a six-speed manual or a Lineartronic continuously variable transmission (CVT).

The 170-horsepower Legacy 2.5i will start at $23,995 with the six-speed manual, and $25,195 with the CVT. The Legacy PZEV with standard CVT is $26,395, while the 265-horsepower turbocharged Legacy 2.5GT with six-speed manual starts at $38,395.

The top-of-the-line Legacy 3.6R is equipped with a new 3.6-litre H6 engine that uses regular-grade fuel, and a specially-tuned five-speed Sportshift automatic transmission with blipping control, starting at $31,895.

The new Legacy is higher and wider than the previous model, for additional head, shoulder and hip room. All feature symmetrical full-time all-wheel drive, and all 2010 models are equipped with four-wheel disc anti-lock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD) and brake assist, as well as Vehicle Dynamics Control, which combines stability and traction control capability.
