After images leaked earlier today, Volvo has lifted their embargo and released official images of the XC90 to some outlets (we had to get these from another source).
If this is any indication of what’s to come, consider us impressed. The 2015 Volvo XC90 is a looker.

Under the hood sits a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 316 hp. Those with a little more cash to spend can go the Twin Engine plug-in hybrid route for 400 hp.
The new XC90, now only in its second generation, will be the first vehicle to sit atop Volvo’s new Scalable Product Architecture.
We will have more official information once Volvo Canada sends out an official press release.
Note: Volvo Canada (via their Twitter account) firmly stated the global embargo is still in place until 6pm EST tonight. But, if everyone else is running photos and official press releases…
