RedBull.tv will be covering all the action online starting June 30th.

Peugeot is making a comeback at the 91st Pikes Peak Hill Climb, some 25 years after Ari Vatanen made his roucous drive into the heavens in a Peugeot 405 Turbo 16 GR, which later became a short film called Climb Dance. If you haven’t watched it, now is as good a time as any.

This time, PSA is attacking the mountain with the Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak piloted by none other than nine-time World Rally Champion Sébastien Loeb. The Unlimited class car, with full carbon fibre body and tube-frame construction, is the product of Peugeot Sport and makes an incredible 875 hp. It also weighs in at 875 kg. I’m sure you can do the power to weight ratio math on this one.

The equation solves easily: this Pug is going to be one epic drive.

Honda is taking a very different approach. After fielding a heavily modified NSX during the 90th running of Pikes Peak, Honda has teamed up with the event to be an official sponsor this year. The NSX will make a return, along with a CR-Z, Fit EV, and Acura TL SH-AWD. They’ll also be fielding five motorcycles and an ATV for good measure.

All of this will be broadcast online thanks to RedBull.tv starting June 30th. So, even if you aren’t there, the energy drink purveyor will provide wonderful coverage from the ground and air, along with interviews throughout the event.
