There are too many 911 models and that’s the perfect number

People complain about there being too many 911 variants. That’s like saying “There are way too many beautiful women at this beach.” Screw them. The Targa is awesome. And now it is awesomer.

Today in Detroit, Porsche took the wraps off the next iteration of the 911 — the Targa 4 GTS — and I am totally okay with Porsche cutting up the 911 to fit every imaginable niche.

The new Targa 4 GTS sports 430 hp from its flat-six engine along with a standard Sport Chrono package with 20-inch matte black wheels. Extra power allows the new 911 to sprint to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds on its way to a top speed of over 300 km/h.

Also revealed in Detroit was the new Cayenne Turbo S with 570 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque.
