ATS-V and ATS-V+ will pack serious grunt and be powered by forced induction engines

Motor Trend is reporting the ATS is set to get a couple of models added to its range following the reveal of their newest addition, the ATS Coupe.

Citing no sources, MT states ATS-V and ATS-V+ models will be joining over the next couple of years. ATS-V will be powered by the same 3.6-litre twin turbo V6 currently doing duty in the CTS Vsport, producing 425 hp and mated to a seven-speed manual gearbox.

Above that will be a new ATS-V+, rumoured to be powered by a blown V8, possibly the same LT4 shown in Detroit in the new Corvette Z06.

Expect the V treatment to be available in both two- and four-door ATS models.
