Earlier this morning, our friends over at The Truth About Cars posted up a couple of images of the 2016 Cadillac XT5. The replacement for the SRX was spotted by Kinja blogger, saw930 in the swanky Soho District in New York.

The XT5, spotted while sitting pretty for a photo shoot, certainly looks production ready and fits right in with the look and feel of one of New York’s trendiest districts.

No new details have been released since GM’s CarPlay press release earlier this month. What we can see though, is the XT5’s front end could almost be mistaken for the front end of a CT6 sedan – keeping with Caddy’s current design scheme.

No word on when its official debut will be but it wouldn’t be a stretch to see GM debuting the XT5 at the LA Auto Show later this year.
