You're not shaking in your boots at the upcoming Moosehead craft brewery, LOL?

Sent from my Vic20 using Java Moose

Last week, I received a congratulatory card from Andrew Oland....thought it was a very classy moved and it meant a lot to me.  As for the new Moosehead brewery uptown, I think that it's fantastic news for uptown SJ.  I've had a lot of their Cask offerings at the SJAH and all of them have been pretty decent.  Some other small breweries uptown will no doubt be affected by this.  But competition is good.

A mock drawing of my new brewery.  Looking to break ground in early October.  Can't wait.   :)

Another meeting with the builder today, everything is on track to break ground the first week of October.  Excited, nervous, anxious, and a million other emotions all in one.  Such a huge investment for me so it scares the :censor: of me in a way........but no question this is what I want to do.  Feels great to know exactly what you want to do in life.

You'll definitely be successful, everyone I know who's had your beer loves it.

My pallet hasn't been gravitating to IPAs lately, but this one is easily one of the best IPAs I've had in quite some time.

 8) Keep us updated. You know your own brewery deserves its own thread.

I plan on taking pics of the brewery as it progresses, so a new thread might be a good idea.  :)

Get a GoPro so you can put it on a stake and do the time lapse thing.  Would be incredible to see.

A new thread is mandatory so just do it.  Oh ya, congrats! This is great news.

When you have the grand opening, how will you house all of us?

that's awesome! i'm finally on board with your facebook page, so i'll try to keep up to date on there as well... good luck!

oh, because of the thread, i should mention i had a new one... lawrence of arabica... coffe porter with a touch of orange... it was pretty good. i'd have it again, but not search it out. light on both the coffee and orange taste (which is a plus to me), poured well and had a good depth of taste (not sure how to put that into words!)...
i used to be addicted to soap, but i'm clean now

The best beer that I have had in North America is easily Alexander Keith's Pale.

It's individual taste of course but one for Alexander... why not. (real hops)

Coors Banquet was good but better in the US and taste varied quite a bit, lately tasting similar to Molson Canadian here.
