I bet the Bangles did.

Walk Like an Egyptian was a monster hit though...so someone must have liked them!

Playing a "mix tape" if you will of the best of the 80's right now.   Wow, did anyone ever things the "Bangles" were cool?

Dexer did, but I think we pi$$ed him off a couple of years ago and he hasn't been seen since.

Anyone know how he's doing?

I believe he's passed on.

I thought the Bangles were cool back in the day, and Susanna Hoffs was just smokin' hot. Still is.

Listening to The Dead South. I had no idea they were from Regina. I live under a rock apparently.

Darkane "A Wisdom's Breed"

Hall of fame late 90s album for me, never disappoints. Album is 40 minutes of pure Swedish aggressive perfection. One of the best jazz/metal drummers in the business, Peter Wildoer, really stretches his legs here. Vocalist also was the original for Andromeda, he has real range.

I don't. It's just the speculation based on what others have said.

Near as I can recall, this is the last real news about Dexer posted here: https://www.autos.ca/forum/index.php?topic=75441.msg1098134#msg1098134 . Maybe others have heard something more definite? mwqa was last here a month ago. Maybe he knows for sure?

Anyway, started at the beginning and have been working my way through my Dylan LPs again. Just finished Bringing It All Back Home. Almost forgot how fantastic his early stuff was.

Listen to Greta Van Fleet...a new rock band.  Reminds me of 80ish rock.   Reminds me a bit of Rush (Black Smoke Rising) and most other times Led Zeppelin (Highway Tune, Safari Song.).

Pretty decent!  Wonder if the will take off?

Saw The Northern Pikes last night on their 30th Anniversary Tour for their album, Big Blue Sky.

They played the album in its entirety, took a short break, then returned to play for another 90 minutes.  Great show, tons of energy.

Kevin Kane, from the Grapes of Wrath, has joined the tour on guitar and vocals.  The Pikes performed two GoW tunes.

Bryan Potvin's guitar work on this tune still gives me goosebumps.

I use the Spotify Free desktop player at work, keeping whatever classical music the radio comes up with on in the background.  Currently listening to John Williams non-movie music.
