NEW FOR 2013:

– Intelligent Precision Shift (IPS) automatic transmission available on Evora S

For 2013, the Lotus Evora gets a new model, the Evora S IPS, which features the same automatic transmission as the non-supercharged model.

The Evora uses a mid-mounted 3.5-litre V6 engine, sourced from Toyota and tuned by Lotus, which is naturally-aspirated in the Evora and supercharged in the Evora S. Both use a six-speed manual transmission which can be optioned to the Intelligent Precision Shift six-speed automatic transmission.

Both models can be ordered as a 2+2 with two small rear seats, or with a luggage compartment in place of them.

Features include 18- and 19-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, heated mirrors, touch-screen multi-media system, “floating” rear wing, leather Recaro sport seats with manual adjustment, leather upper door trim panels, flat-bottomed leather and magnesium tilt and telescopic steering wheel, power windows, brake assist, electronic brake force distribution, shift indicator light, keyless entry, trip computer, and CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary input and iPod interface.
