For 2013, the Chrysler Town & Country continues on relatively unchanged. However, a new optional Blu-Ray player has been added and upgrades screens make the most of the new high resolution video. Also added as standard is trailer sway dampening throughout all trim levels and a new line of 17-inch wheels for all trims.
The Town & Country is available with a single engine and transmission combo, the 3.6L Pentastar V6 (283 hp, 260 lb-ft of torque) mated to a 6-speed automatic powering the front wheels.
Trims include Touring, Touring-L, and Limited.
The Touring trim features include 3.6L Pentastar V6, 6-speed automatic transmission, 17-inch aluminum wheels, 2nd row Super Stow ‘n Go, 3rd row Stow ‘n Go with tailgate seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio and cruise controls, Super Console, leather-wrapped shift knob, power sliding doors and liftgate with obstacle detection, power eight-way driver’s seat with two-way power lumbar adjuster, tri-zone automatic temperature control, rear view camera, electronic stability control, traction control, brake assist, trailer sway dampening, advanced multistage airbags (front, side-curtain, front-seat side, and driver’s knee blocker), reactive front head restraints, four-wheel disc antilock brakes, tire pressure monitoring warning lamp, power locks, power front/2nd row/rear quarter windows, body-colour power/heated mirrors, body-colour door handles and sill appliqué, bright grille and bodyside moulding, black side roof rails with integrated crossbars, keyless entry, tilt/telescopic steering column, sunscreen glass, automatic headlamps, fog lights, EVIC, Uconnect 430 CD/DVD/MP3/HDD with 6.5-inch touch-screen, satellite radio including one-year subscription, power adjustable pedals, overhead ambient surround lighting, chrome interior accents, universal garage door opener.
Touring-L trim adds leather-faced seats, heated front seats, power front driver and passenger seats, remote start, 2nd and 3rd row window shades, tire pressure monitoring display, and security alarm.
Limited trim adds luxury leather-faced seats, heated 2nd row seats, power 8-way driver’s memory/8-way
passenger seats, power adjustable pedals with memory, wood/leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated steering wheel, power folding exterior mirrors, Uconnect hands-free communication with Bluetooth streaming audio, auto-dimming rearview mirror with microphone, nine amplified speakers with subwoofer, bright door handles and roof rails, keyless entry with proximity key and push button start, Park-Sense Rear Park Assist System, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-path detection, rain sensitive windshield wipers, SmartBeam™ headlamps, and chrome exterior mirrors with supplemental signals.
