Nothing significant changes on Audi’s gorgeous compact coupe. It continues to be available as a coupe or convertible, as the standard-tune A5, sporty S5 and sportier RS5. Engine choices are a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder (2.0T; 220 hp/258 lb-ft of torque) in the A5, a supercharged 3.0L V6 (333 hp/325 lb-ft) in the S5, and a 4.2L V8 in the RS5 (450 hp/317 lb-ft). A5 coupes use either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission, while convertibles are automatic-only. S5 is offered with six-speed manual and seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmissions, and the RS5 is sold exclusively with the seven-speed auto. All cars in the line have Quattro all-wheel drive.
Trim levels are Komfort, Progressiv and Technik in the A5 Coupe, and Progressiv and Technik in the convertible. S5 coupe and convertible can be had in Progressiv and Technik, and the RS5 is sold in a single trim.
A5 coupe in Komfort trim come with 18-inch wheels, panoramic sunroof, Bluetooth, heated side mirrors, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, 10-speaker stereo, automatic wipers and headlights, automatic climate control, Audi music interface, satellite radio, S Line exterior trim and door sills, fog lights, three-spoke leather steering wheel, power-adjustable and heated front seats, bi-Xenon headlights and LED daytime running lights, and storage and interior lighting packages.
Progressiv trim adds navigation, trunk storage package, auto-dimming side mirrors, rear parking sensors, high-gloss exterior trim, aluminum satellite inlays, three-zone climate control, auto-dimming rearview mirror with compass, intelligent keyless entry, driver seat memory, colour driver information display and Audi drive select.
Technik trim comes with Audi side assist, garage door opener, Bang & Olufsen stereo, adaptive headlights and Audi parking system with backup camera.
S5 Coupes start in Progressiv trim and include the A5’s features, plus 19-inch wheels, load-through provision, headlight washers, brushed aluminum mirror housings, sport seats, Nappa leather seats, and sport suspension.
S5 Technik models add speech dialogue system, CD/DVD player, and a HDD navigation system.
The RS5 Coupe gets 20-inch wheels, interior LED lighting, dynamic steering, tire repair kit, uprated sport suspension, leather-trimmed door armrests, retractable rear spoiler, aluminum door sill inserts, carbon fibre interior inlays, and RS specific Nappa-trimmed seats.
A5 convertible start in Progressiv trim, and come with much the same kit as the Progressiv sedan, with the addition of a wind blocker, LED taillights, one-touch roof operation, and a HDD navigation system.
Technik convertible models are equipped similarly to the coupe.
S5 and RS5 convertible models are equipped similarly to the coupe variants.
