What forced-induction engine will power Infiniti’s new super sedan?

Infiniti today released some interesting details regarding their Q50 Eau Rouge concept, along with a video and sound file to tease its upcoming appearance at the 2014 Geneva International Auto Show.

While previously revealed at the 2014 North American International Auto Show, the Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge was shown without engine an shown or details provided by the now Hong Kong-based luxury automaker.

Infiniti will only state the engine has a “big personality … with forced induction” and finishes the video with the #F1Q50 hashtag. With Formula 1 set to use turbocharged V6 engines this year, it wouldn’t be a far leap to assume the Eau Rouge will get a similar, though more pedestrian, turbo V6 powerplant.

Watch the video above or listen to the sound file below and let us know what you think. We’ll find out officially on March 4th.
