In July, we told you the forthcoming Tesla Model X will have a “ludicrous” mode allowing it to scoot from a stop to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.3 seconds.

Today, Road and Track reports the car will be even quicker (though marginally so) at 3.2 seconds to sixty, and that the top “Signature” trim will carry a price of $132,000, before the $10,000 ludicrous option.

The Signature trim will come with a 90 kWh battery, AWD, about 400 km driving range, and do zero to 60 mph in a still-respectable 3.8 seconds. There will be less-expensive trims, but expect those to trade some performance and range for their lower pricing. The first production models are scheduled to be delivered later this month.
