Jeep exec hints at pickup model that you don’t have to build yourself.

If you really want a Jeep pickup, you can have one today. But, it means buying a Wrangler Unlimited, a Sawzall, and spending a lot of time in your garage piecing together the Mopar provided Mecano set above.

That may all change in the near future if Jeep President Mike Manley gets his wish. Speaking to Bloomberg, Manley stated “I’m a big fan of a Wrangler-based pickup,” to the surprise of absolutely nobody. Who wouldn’t be a fan of a Wrangler pickup?

Come on, Jeep. Give the people what they want. A JK-8 for those of us with inept hands would be a great addition to the Jeep lineup.

And call it the Comanche.
