Is This the Rear of the New Mazda3 Sedan?

With the Mazda3 hatchback already shown in the flesh, the only unknown is the rear of the sedan. Is this it?

Mazda recently showed off the new Mazda3 hatchback to invited journalists in multiple cities globally last week. However, there was one outstanding bit: what will the rear of the sedan look like?

The above image, said to have been posted briefly on Mazda Canada’s leaky Facebook page, was quickly removed. But not until someone saved it and sent it to Carscoops.

Carscoops does make mention of the image using the exact same scenery as one of the hatchback press photos with eerily similar taillight placement and other details. However, with the prolific use of computer generated imagery by OEMs for press photos, this certainly could be legitimate.
