If you’re a fan of the new CLA, the next-generation C-Class is your rear-wheel drive option in a similar wrapper

Mercedes-Benz isn’t waiting until Detroit or Geneva to give full details on the 2015 C-Class.

The next-generation saloon – eventually to be joined by coupe and convertible models – will come to Canada in two flavours, both turbocharged. The entry model C300 will get a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine under the hood, sporting a healthy 235 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque. Those of us looking for a bit of extra fun can opt for the C400. Getting a 3.0L V6, also turbocharged, the top-line saloon will have more output than its competitors from BWW, Lexus, and Cadillac, at 329 hp and 354 lb-ft.

In typical Mercedes-Benz fashion, the new C-Class will get a wide array of options and safety features.

A full preview of the newest C-Class will be available shortly after its official launch next month. In the meantime, check out the gallery below.
