Hyundai’s next-generation Elantra has been revealed in photos showing the Korean-market Avante (the car’s name in its maker’s home country) on the factory floor in (we assume) Ulsan, South Korea. The reveal comes not long after Hyundai teased the new car in a sketch.

The new design doesn’t break much new ground: the outgoing car is more interesting to look at, but we’re glad to see Hyundai adopting styling that will age better than the brand’s Fluidic Sculpture design language. This car owes much of its look to the just-introduced Tucson, and the Sonata sedan.

Hyundai has confirmed the 2017 Elantra will get its proper reveal–for North America, at least–at the Los Angeles auto show in November.
