Didn't we have this conversation a few months ago? Can't remember who it was.

OK you have done the Canaries............Morroco is Fairly  close.AND AFRICA folks. Honeymoon divided between the  Big city souks ,exotic to us restos, unique accomodations the Mediterranean vibe and  such then over the Atlas Mts (by Camel Ha Ha) to the western coastal towns on the Atlantic for a different vibe...I'm sure some enterprising Arabs could be persuaded to dress up as gorillas and chase the Missus...then she will run into your arms for succour.... ;) ....

no pressure but i need the 13% commission :P
^^

I looked into Morocco, but I think if we're going that far, better just continue on the trek.  I'm liking the sounds of:

https://www.mahlatini.com/itineraries/kruger-safari-and-mauritius-honeymoon/

or

https://www.mahlatini.com/itineraries/kenya-and-zanzibar-safari-and-beach-honeymoon/

No-san's Honeymoon thread?
On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

Starting my vacation on Saturday with a bunch of other gearheads  :)

Niiice!! Enjoy.

Thanks!  In preparation, I went lapping with the M3 for the first time this evening - loved it.

Don't fight it.  The sooner you get it the better.

The M3 was great on the track - great turn in and very predictable - breakaway is very gradual.  I was 5th fastest today.

Great variety of cars.

Cool pics Normmancw and thanks for sharing!   :fiver:

Coming in 5th fastest id quite a feat considering some of the hardware present. What was the fastest vehicle of the day?

The blue STi (totally modded time attack car, 650 WHP) was first on Saturday on the short track at Calabogie and first on Sunday on the long track.  The 2nd fastest on both days was my friend's red FR-S running headers and E85 - probably only makes 195 WHP!   He's a really good driver.

Today we'll be at Mosport.

That's a friend of a friend's car.  Jud Buchanan / VDG.  The guy on the right there is a friend from work who is also driving at these track days.

'67 Acadian I think.  Very powerful and pretty tail happy I've heard.  The events sound great fun indeed.

I think that FR-S looks absolutely perfect: meaty rubber on light rims, offset looks just right, and suspension is not slammed to the ground. Looks fast and functional. Any idea what the tire size is?

And I love that '67 Acadian (or whatever it is) too: it just looks mean.

The FR-S is running 265/40R18 Bridgestone RE-71R tires.

I agree. Awesome.
Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.
