OK you have done the Canaries............Morroco is Fairly  close.AND AFRICA folks. Honeymoon divided between the  Big city souks ,exotic to us restos, unique accomodations the Mediterranean vibe and  such then over the Atlas Mts (by Camel Ha Ha) to the western coastal towns on the Atlantic for a different vibe...I'm sure some enterprising Arabs could be persuaded to dress up as gorillas and chase the Missus...then she will run into your arms for succour.... ;) ....

I'm liking that idea more and more.

The other option, I suppose, is Brazil/Argentina...but I would rather leave that for another year ideally, and to go during our winter.
