In an announcement made today at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, Ford said its 2017 GT supercar will be built by Multimatic Inc., at that company’s Markham, Ontario facility.

Unveiled earlier this year at the Detroit auto show, the GT is a 600-hp, carbon-fibre-bodied supercar that will come to market as the homologation version of the the company’s upcoming Le Mans racer.
