Volvo unveils all-new C70
Frankfurt, Germany – Volvo has introduced its second-generation convertible, the all-new 2006 Volvo C70, at the Frankfurt Auto Show. The C70 features seating for four and a retractable hardtop that folds away into the trunk.
The new model is slightly shorter and sits lower than its predecessor, but is just as wide. The trademark Volvo rear lights have a lower profile than on sedan models, to highlight the coupe-type body style. Inside, the C70 features the thin “floating” centre stack introduced in the S40 and V50, along with new “Vulcaflex” synthetic seating material.
