Based on a current production model, the Hybrid-R boasts hybrid tech from their TS030 LeMans car.

On September 10th, Toyota will be showing us the rest of the car teased above. Called the Hybrid-R, Toyota says it is based on an existing production model and equipped with a high-output traditional internal combustion ending and electric motors for a combined power rating of 400 hp.

The concept’s hybrid tech is lifted from Toyota’s TS030 hybrid LeMans prototype. But, to keep things civil on public streets and highways, the Hybrid-R will have dual mode control of power output.

Can you guess what the existing model is? Give us your guesses in the comments.
