Goodwood, England – Rolls-Royce has commissioned pen company Conway Stewart to produce 25 writing instrument sets to mark the 80th anniversary of the Rolls-Royce Phantom. Each set will be housed in a handcrafted leather and aluminum case made by Rolls-Royce, and fitted into the glovebox of 25 special-edition Phantoms.
Each set will contain a Duro-style fountain pen, ballpoint pen and mechanical pencil. The Duro pen was originally designed in the mid-1920s, as was the Phantom, and was widely acclaimed for its quality and style. Conway Stewart is considered one of the world’s top pen makers; the company dates from 1905.
