If you needed more proof Toyota’s Prius is more computer than car, the company is recalling 625,000 examples of its best-known hybrid model worldwide to fix a software problem that can cause the car to randomly shut down while driving.

According to a Reuters news report, the cars affected are mostly Prius V models, but the recall covers cars built between May 2010 and November 2014, including about 120,000 in North America.

Exact numbers for Canada aren’t known, and the recall is not yet listed by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) nor Transport Canada.
