MECH5 to offer in-depth analysis by smartphone, tablet, or laptop

London, UK based Nebula Systems is looking to change how we diagnose our vehicles through a new product they call MECH5.

While the basics of MECH5 are fairly similar to other solutions – including an OBD2 reader and software to read the data – Nebula Systems looks to bring it all online so mechanics, fleet managers, and even roadside recovery services can diagnose problems remotely.

Andrew Steer, sales director of Nebula Systems, explained the system will be for everyone, not just professionals.

“We have designed MECH5 for different levels of involvement and anyone can use it. You don’t have to be an expert because users can dynamically contribute with known repairs and technical information very easily, while working on cars and finding solutions.”

The company is currently crowdfunding on Kickstarter to complete the first stage of MECH5 development with an expected launch of later this year.
