Longueuil, Quebec – Montreal’s Jacques Cartier Bridge will be closed 15 times from February until June, from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m., to replace 12 bearing devices.

The work will take place under the bridge and will require complete closures to avoid overloads caused by vehicles. The goal is to slightly lift a section of the deck with jacks and replace the bearing devices.

The first complete closures will be on February 20, 22 and 24 from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m.
