A new ad from Volkswagen featuring Tanner Foust – a Formula Drift champion, Global Rallycross champion, stunt driver, X-Games champion, and Scott Speed – a former Formula One driver, NASCAR racer, Formula E racer, and like Tanner, he’s driving in the Global Rallycross Championship; shows the two accomplished racers taking on their new roles as summer interns at a VW dealership. You know times are tough when drivers like Tanner Foust and Scott Speed, have experience the ‘Millennial Way’ to pad their resumes.
The humourous spot comes right before round one of the 2015 Global Rallycross Championship, kicking off May 30th in Fort Lauderdale. Both drivers will be campaigning in the 2015 GRC with their highly specialized 553-hp Beetles, built by the Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross team. Understandably though, the VW ad features a Golf R instead of the GRC Beetle. Too bad, those little Beetles are a hoot to watch in action.
