Mazda Canada will give away a three-year lease on a 2014 Mazda3 to one lucky participant.
Mazda enthusiasts will be at Oshawa Municipal Airport in a world record attempt for most Mazdas in a single parade formation on September 22nd. The world record attempt will be done in conjunction with Heart for Hearth with proceeds going to Hearth Place Cancer Care Centre in Oshawa.
An estimated 800 Mazdas are expected to attend, the goal being to break the previous world record set in June 2013 in Lelystad, Netherlands which saw 683 Mazda MX-5s gathered in one place.
One lucky attendee will also walk away with a free three-year lease on a brand new 2014 Mazda3.

Toronto Mazda Owners and Mazda Canada to Set World Record

RICHMOND HILL, Ont. – On Sunday September 22nd, 2013 TorontoMazda3.ca (TM3) and Mazda Canada Inc. (MCI) will host one of the largest gatherings of Mazdas in the world on the runway of Oshawa Municipal Airport. With an estimated 800 cars on the runway, the group of cars will aim to break the world record for most Mazdas in a single parade formation. The previous record was set in June 2013, when 683 Mazda MX-5s gathered in Lelystad, Netherlands.
Heart for Hearth 2013 will run in conjunction with 5K on the Runway, with both events raising funds to support the Hearth Place Cancer Care Centre in Oshawa. In 2012, TM3 raised nearly $10,000, including a $4000 donation from Mazda Canada. Nearly 300 Mazda3 and Mazdaspeed3 owners joined the event, organizing their cars in formation to create a giant “ZOOM ZOOM” on the airport runway.
Heart for Hearth 2013 registration is $20 per car, which includes admission and door prizes from TM3 sponsors. One lucky participant will also win a three-year lease on a brand new 2014 Mazda3 from Mazda Canada.
With great prizes, the chance to help set a world record, and all proceeds directed towards a great cause, this will be a can’t-miss event for all Mazda3 owners.
