MARKHAM, Ont. – Hyundai Auto Canada Corp. today announced that the new 2013 Santa Fe XL, featuring an extended wheelbase for three-row seating and a 290-horsepower V6, will be priced from $29,999 with a wide range of standard features when it arrives in dealerships next month. Available in six- and seven-passenger formats, the Santa Fe XL is 215 mm longer than the existing 5-passenger Santa Fe and the only SUV in the company’s line-up with a six-cylinder engine. Standard equipment includes a 3.3-litre V6 with Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI), three-row seating for seven passengers, 18-inch alloy wheels, Bluetooth, heated front seats, sliding second row seats with cargo area release, trailer pre-wiring, and much more.

The range-topping Limited model adopts a six-passenger layout, trading the second-row three-person bench seat for two spacious captain’s chairs. Priced at $42,899 with black leather or $43,199 with saddle leather, the Limited adds unexpected premium features including HID headlights, LED taillights, an Integrated Memory System (IMS) for the driver’s seat and mirror settings, deluxe metal door scuff plates, a supervision gauge cluster with high-resolution TFT LED display, proximity keyless entry with push-button ignition, 19-inch alloy wheels, a 10-speaker Infinitypremium audio system, and an 8.0-inch touchscreen navigation system.
