Vancouver, British Columbia – The 2012 Fisker Karma has been added to the list of new vehicles available in British Columbia that qualify under the Clean Energy Vehicle (CEV) Point of Sale Incentive Program.

The Karma, a plug-in electric vehicle with extended range, qualifies for a discount of up to $5,000 off the pre-tax sticker price when purchased or leased at a new-car dealer in B.C. There are now 16 vehicles on the list of qualifying vehicles on the program, which kicked off last December.

“The addition of the Fisker name to our list of qualifying vehicles is great news for consumers here in B.C.,” said Blair Qualey, president and CEO of the New Car Dealers Association of B.C. “The CEV for BC program is here to make a significant contribution to the ‘greening’ of the provincial economy, and we’re excited to be able to make new clean energy technology more accessible to those looking to purchase or lease a new vehicle.”

The CEV Incentive Program is accessible through 199 participating dealers across the province. For more information and a list of qualifying vehicles, visit CEVforBC.
