Lafayette, Indiana – The first all-new 2006 Subaru B9 Tribeca rolled off the assembly line at the Subaru plant in Lafayette, Indiana yesterday. The company plans to produce more than 26,000 units of the SUV this year.

“This is a very exciting day for the Subaru brand,” said Hiroyuki Oikawa, president and CEO of Subaru of Indiana Automotive Inc. “The Subaru B9 Tribeca is the latest innovation from Subaru that strengthens an already award-winning product lineup.”

The Subaru B9 Tribeca debuted in January at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit and is set to arrive in Subaru dealerships beginning in late May.
