Fiat Chrysler Canada have just issued a recall for 235,925 trucks in Canada and 1.06 million trucks in the U.S. to inspect and service a harness in the steering wheel that may prematurely wear, potentially causing an inadvertent airbag deployment.
The steering wheel harness recall affects Ram models from 2012 through to 2014 – 1500, 2500, 3500, 3500, 4500, and 5500 models respectively. So far, there have been two incidents reported but no injuries.
If you have a Ram in those years, get your truck, contact your local dealer to have it checked out as soon as possible.
