Longueuil, Quebec – Montreal’s Jacques Cartier Bridge will close completely on several nights in March and April to replace six bearing devices. All closures will be from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m.

The work will take place under the bridge and will require complete closure to avoid overloads caused by vehicles. The operations will require lifting nearly 336 tonnes with jacks to replace the old bearing devices with new ones.

Complete closures will be on the following nights from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m.:

The complete closures on the Jacques-Cartier Bridge will take place as follows:

Wednesday March 16 to Thursday March 17
Tuesday March 22 to Wednesday March 23
Thursday March 24 to Friday March 25
Tuesday March 29 to Wednesday March 30
Wednesday March 30 to Thursday March 31
Sunday April 3 to Monday April 4
