Nissan has just released the Canadian pricing of the new 2016 Altima. The automaker’s best selling vehicle on the North-American market received a few updates for the 2016 model-year and pricing will now start at $23,998 for the entry-level version.

Nissan unveiled a face-lifted Altima back in September. It then made its Canadian debut last week at the Montreal International Auto Show alongside an equally upgraded Sentra. The mid-size sedan received a Maxima-inspired muscular new silhouette as well as a new, sportier 2.5 SR trim level. Nissan also fiddled with the steering and the suspension to improve the car’s handling and equipped it with a third-generation CVT, designed to reproduce the shift points of a traditional automatic transmission.

The 2016 Nissan Altima will be available in a total of six different versions, offered with the same two powertrain options carried over from last year: the 2.5L four cylinder engine and the 3.5L V6. Pricing will start from $23,998, a $200 price difference with the 2015, and scale all the way up to $35,498 for the 3.5 SL version. With that, you also get Nissan’s promise that their sales champion will be packed with all the perks and techs your heart may desire. Keep an eye open for the new 2016 Nissan Altima hitting the dealers sometime this month.
