Las Vegas, Nevada – The Chevrolet Camaro, Fiat 500, Ford F-Series and Jeep Wrangler have been named the “hottest” in their categories at the 2011 SEMA aftermarket show, which runs this week in Las Vegas.

The Camaro was named the Hottest Car, the Fiat the Hottest Sport Compact Car, the F-Series the Hottest Truck, and the Wrangler the Hottest 4×4-SUV.

“As the visionaries and innovators of the industry, our SEMA Show exhibitors determine the winners of the SEMA Award based on the vehicles they showcase in their booths,” said Chris Kersting, president and CEO of SEMA. “With each booth representing one vote, the most prominent models in each category are the winners. The SEMA Award celebrates these outstanding vehicles that emerge each year at the show.”

The awards honour the vehicles that specialty-equipment manufacturers believe are the best platforms for accessorizing and that showcase this year’s coolest products.
