No-San has a point there.  The grill on the hybrid is a bit of a mess.

Man you'd have to be quite the zealot to pay $42000 for that Fusion Energi. Considering you can buy a used 2017 Fusion Titanium with 10-15000 km for less than $28,000.

Unless you live in Ontario.

Dunno what you all are talking about.  All I see is a handsome, somewhat conservatively styled sedan, very much in keeping with the mainstream midsize segment.  Even allowing for differing subjective preferences,  claiming this is "horrid" and the Accord "effing fantastic!" could only be the product of over-consumption of Hyundai haterade.  Or Honda fanboy Kool-aid.  Or both.  Neither can lay a glove on the Mazda 6 for looks.

Wokeism is nothing more than the recognition and opposition of bigotry in all its forms.  Bigots are predictably triggered.

Overall it's quite nice.

The grill though, notsomuch.  And that's really all No-San was commenting on.

i don't think it's that bad, and in Ontario, there will be a license plate in the middle of that plastic area anyway (which might help to break it up).

I prefer the standard headlights on this Hybrid to the LED ones of the top trim.

LOL.  Jaeger, you are clearly the biggest fanboi on this site (maybe 2nd to rrocket's toyota love or Chaos' Alfa crap....well and maybe the Tesla homies too).

You love ALL things Hyundai.   That's fine, but that Sonata Hybrid grill is clearly horrible.  Be real.

None of the cars in the comparatif are what I'd call stylish, and I ding the Americanised VWs for their  but I have to admit the Passat looks better than the overstyled Hyundai, Ford, and the bucktooth Honda.

The current Fusion and Mazda 6 are both very nice looking cars, I think.

1st gen Mazda 6.  2004 - 2008 version.  Of course, the hatch and wagon look even better, but the sedan still looks great today- and better than the (admittedly stylish) current Mazda6 IMO.

2004 - 2008 Acura TL.  Looked great then, still looks great.  That era's TSX was also really nice, but I prefer the TL by a hair.

I assume he was talking non-lux (or near lux) like the TL.

But yeah, Mazda 6, most gens of the Passat I've liked (if understated).

And I also think the Sonata looks good, just not that Hybrid grill.
