Oh contact boo.  I'll only buy outright now

Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk

I've had the same number and with the same Carrier dating back to the Motorolla StarTac days...........no plans on going anywhere so a two year contract doesn't bother me a bit.   ;D

I'll definitely be unlocking my S8+.  I've never had to do it with my Google phones as they came unlocked, but I'll have to do it myself with this one.  I like having the option to put in a different SIM card when I travel.

Same here, I thought about unlocking a few years ago, and trying different carrier.  None are perfect.  But Rogers still works best for me.  So, I don't bother unlocking.  Don't see any reason too.

Since I now have my S8+ I am looking to sell my Nexus 6P.  What would be a reasonable price to ask for it?  The phone is in mint condition and includes an impact case, original box, and the manual.

I grabbed a new S7 just before I left on vacation 2 weeks ago... Bell had a promo running so I got the phone for free on a new 2yr contract... and they had a new loyalty deal running, so for $90/month I'm getting 4Gb of data, unlimited Canada wide talk & text, and all the other BS... plus it's in my Bell bundle so I get another $3 off

Public Mobile had a special offer for people porting over WIND/Freedom Mobile numbers.

It's a 3 month plan.  $120 for 12 GB. So $40/month for 4 GB.

It was a no-brainer to jump on that.

Best part about that plan is that you have 3 months to use the 12 GB. Flexibility!

Not worth the high price now.
I would pick the Note 8 or V30 over the Pixel2.

Note 8 isn't available yet...and the price is obscene.

I am switching back to iPhone's.  Prolly gonna get the iPhone 8 plus 256 GB or the iPhone X.  I currently have three Samsung Galaxy S 5  neo. I am sick of Samsung crap. One of my phones does not received pictures from texts.  I took it back several times and they failed to repair it or replace it.

Yes I have three phones.   That was not a typo.

It is NOT slave free.  The Canadian Government should place a ban on all of these products until the issue is resolved but that is never going to happen because the leader is a wimp.

Or, the people doing the buying could vote with their wallets.

It seems odd to take the stance that government should prevent you from voluntarily buying a product.

I think I will order my three phones from Virgin Mobile directly instead of going to the kiosk in the mall.  They tend to give better deals such as extra GB of data.  They have been offering me everything recently.  The only down side I will have new phone numbers.

Because back in Guyana there were many gangs with AK 47s going around and robbing homes I keep one in my car,  second one in my home, and the third one on me.   Old fears still inside me.

I think I will go for the iPhone 7 plus 128 GB.  Cheaper.  No need for 8 or X.
