Just some tires we see. Scary that these people are driving on the same roads as us. The last picture is a tire from a Jeep Compass. Every bushing on the rear suspension links were pounded out. The noise from the rear was deafening. Both rear tires were like that.

That top tire pic looks like some high performance summer rubber. It is likely the owner just ran them out with some honing right before swapping. Smokey burnout time!

And here we are worrying about winter tires vs all seasons .... meanwhile people are out there driving on invisible rotors. :)

Will hardly matter soon.  Wynn GOV set to lower 400 series speed to 80 kmph, provincial and county roadways to 60 kmph and urban limits down from 50 to 30 kmph.  Speeding fines will double and Street Racing Law will now commence @ 30 kmph over.
One of the things I enjoyed about driving in the US, was the realistic speed limits. Interstate in Montana,Oregon and Washington was 75MPH, 80 MPH in Idaho, 75-80 in Utah, Even 2 lane backtops in most of the states we were in were 70MPH.
Enjoying the Alberta advantage

I think Ms Wynne would be bitten by the Law of Unintended Consequences   if she did that.

We were at a family BBQ on the weekend and I happened to notice a 1-2" rust bubble on the hood of a cousins' 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan. We are in the market for a DGC, so I was surprised to see it on such a new vehicle...a little concerning. Walking in to work today I saw the same thing on a 2011-2012 Chrysler 200. About 1-2" area of bubbled paint right at the front lip of the hood. I'm not talking surface rust, like there is going to be a hole there in 6-12 months. Looking online it seems like there are some other forums where this is popping up. So if you're shopping for a late-model Chrysler, check the hood!

This was a theft recovery Ram 1500. The guy cut the front half of the dash out to replace the VIN. Then he glues it back together with what looks like spray foam insulation.

Sadly NO.  Obviously, the trend has been towards more controls on societal behaviours with very little to nil political push back.  The Ontario government is desperate for revenue.  It will be sold as a safety issue and an energy issue.

1287km?

On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.
