Topic: The things that make me sad, angry, and upset

My morning commute route takes me east from my house on the 417 in Ottawa and then I exit on Kent St. north to get downtown. They seemed to have changed the programming of the light at the end of the off-ramp as now only 5 - 6 cars can get thru the intersection (going straight or turning left are your only 2 options). So now as I come down the ramp (it's an underpass) the cars are already backed up & queued up before going under the hwy, last week this was not the case 

Where's our local traffic engineer to explain this logic to me please?

Oil pipeline company serving the entire region blew up one of their pipelines again.     . This means everyone's going to rush the petrol stations and there's probably going to be shortages again. And I was planning to drive out of town this weekend !

One report was saying they were excavating near the pipeline and hit it. If they were that close to the pipe, they should likely have been using a hydrovac truck. It must have been a pretty good hit to puncture a gasoline pipeline though, or the pipe was in really bad shape.

Yes, the report I read was that a maintenance crew (for the pipeline) was working with a backhoe and hit the pipeline.

Did anyone see this about the bridge collapse in Italy the other day?  They closed off one lane due to concrete falling on the road, but didn't block the road over the bridge or under it, with predictable results.  Even in Montreal, they aren't this careless.

^ Same here, or at least wait until after Remembrance Day.  I went to Costco in Saint John back in late August to buy a couple more bags of Charcoal.  They didn't have any left..........but I could of walked out with a facking Christmas tree though.

My internet is so bad.   Works 9-5 fine,  at 8pm peak it slows to a crawl.   It's basically useless so I end up just using my phone.

$80 a month I may as well cut it off and just use my phone and pay the max $50 overage on the phone.   Seems sensible no?

Called and complained and they credited me for the month so at least I made $80 in 15 min on the phone.

A friend is on Xplornet , he can not stream anything 3/4 of the time
Most of  their start money came from the government ,
I guess Bell is dial up in your area with speed up to 5 mb/s , actual measurement 0.5 mb/s
