I like how you parked on the right but used the plug on the left ;)

Do you see many e-cars in your area?

The plug on the right is a different standard, does not fit my car.

Yes I see quite a few every day. Let's see 4-5 Volts/day, at least another Leaf or 2, a Tesla or 2 and iMiev i see also everyday, a local pizza delivery shop have 2 of those.

The DCFC (L3 $10/hre) is a dual standard, CHAdeMO on the left, CCS combo on the right.

It was not visible on the Guy's picture, there is a L2 EVSE ($1/hre) on the left recharge space.

Gone but not forgotten in chronological order: 2019 Volt, 2013 Volt, 2014 Spark EV, 2012 Volt and many others before...

Went out the other night to test the J1772 adapter on my car to make sure it worked on L2 high AMPS, and was parked beside a Leaf.
The owner came along about 30 minutes later on a bike, he had been getting some exercise while charging up on the public L2.

He really loves the Leaf, and is nearing the end of a 3 year lease next year and is not sure what EV's will be available here in Ontario at that time.  For sure the existing crop of EV's, but he did express interest in getting another Leaf on lease.

My neighbour loves his Leaf too, and I personally like the blue colour offered by Nissan.  It's always nice to see (but not hear) it silently whooshing down the street.

Not surprised, I still love mine. Getting close to 16,000 km now. For me it is the perfect commuter car, just the right size, very comfortable with good performance. Can't wait to see if the 2016 will have more range as rumored. My lease will end in 2018, just in time for the release of the next gen Leaf, Tesla III, Bolt and probably others by then.

No problem whatsoever so far, no maintenance visit to the dealer except 1 issue with the wiper's linkage; but that had nothing to do with the fact that the car is an EV.

Went for my 1 year inspection today. 20,000 km on the clock and nothing to report. The inspection was free. The main battery health check came in at 100%. Brake wear is nil on the rear and 15% on the front so the pads should last the 80,000 kms of the lease.

So that's it. Boring compare to the "I hope it's not a sign of things to come" thread but I prefer it this way.

Next maintenance in 12 month, free also.

Nissan has 4500$ on the Leaf's hood, and adding the 8500$ QC gvt credit they are running ads at 22,800$. That's the sort of price level that will move EVs into the mainstream.

With the rebates in Colorado, a Leaf can be had for $12K.  Yes, you read that right.  $12K.

After applicable taxes, IIRC, that credit is:
$8,500 in ON
$8,000 in QC
$5,000 in BC

Yes, they are great!

I have send an email to my dealer because I'm close to the 24,000 km for tire rotation (every 12,000 km) because it is kind of mandated here in QC, it is called winter tires season!
Seriously guys, I have to  replace the cabin air filtrer every 36,000 km  ;)

Next thing is the Replace brake fluid, every 48,000 km or (2) years, whichever comes first. Friction brake are not very solicited because deceleration using regen help to improve its overall efficiency.

Then, at 96,000 km ....
