I feel sorry for the employees.....and the buyers who are now truly beta testers for cars built in an absolute rush.  Scary stuff.

If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

LOL, of all people, I didn’t expect that from you.  That’s why I noticed it.

and good of you to catch it, too few these days give a damn about grammar or spelling etc.

I just don't have a brain after 10 hours of chapter editing, going through some really tough arguments engaging with concepts that stretch the limits of my intelligence  ;D

interesting comment on a $56,000 (US) vehicle:
"But while we did not observe any glaring fit-and-finish issues inside the Model 3, the exterior was a different story. Inconsistent panel gaps around the doors and myriad ill-fitting trim pieces were among the worst we’ve seen in recent memory."

The worst part of that review is the fact they're driving a press car.  Imagine how bad the customer cars are?

Also, the amount of evident photoshopping done on the interior picture is.....incredible.

So Tesla has served up a big heaping bowl of "meh?"  Not surprised.  They're waking up to the reality of mass producing cars at a specific price point, and they're now playing with very capable opponents.

Model 3 fell well short of the 13,800 consensus estimate, at only 8,180 units sold. That’s a miss of more than 40%!!  Also, model S and X sales are down 23%!!

And as you know...thus far in 2018 only 9,766 cars have been made...or an average of 800 per week.

It's not a press car, Tesla would not release one.. It's the car of a private owner.

And yes, mass production is a totally different ball game.

Read today the Elon will sleep on the factory floor until problems are fixed.  :rofl2:

As much as I would have like them to succeed, being pro-EV, I would not bet $20 on them today.

That being said, they did bring recognition that EV's could be real cars; and without them I'm not sure Jaguar and Porsche would be just about to release high end EV's.

Well, and today the stock is back up to $300.

So much for our predictions of doom and gloom..(and that includes me..)  ::)

Tesla subject to new China tariffs.

Uptick in Tesla stock because of Tesla's press release on production saying "we're all good!"

Guarantee the slaps didn't read it thoroughly...cause it doesn't look good.

Isn't that the case for all growth stocks?
