Oh, the Movie "The Way Back" was really good- except now the missus wants to backpack that route.  WTF??  It looks BORING AS HELL.  It's on roads and through towns, FFS.  The only challenge is the huge distance.

If I was you I would skip the desert part or Siberia in winter.

OMG - Wrong movie - I'm thinking of The Way with Martin Sheen where he backpacks across Spain.  LOL

Saw that one, and despite its "ABC Movie of the Week" vibe, I enjoyed it.

My Uncle hiked it and loved the trail. Of course he was 73 when he did it. Ya, I might be ready to do it when I'm that old.

Saw The Revenant last night. Pretty good. Cinematography was impressive. The entire movie was shot with natural lighting. So they only had a couple hours per day to film while the sunlight was perfect. It all adds up to a gloomy, gray, bleak feeling....something that impresses on you..something you feel.

I think some might like it and others wouldn't be impressed with it.

I liked it.

How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

I saw The Drop over Christmas. I really liked it, and I'm not much into crime dramas. Gandolfini and Hardy were both great, I thought.

^ Sicario is excellent.

Understatement.  Unpredictable, suspenseful, and superb acting.

Agree 100%.  Loved this movie.

Just watched it last night.  I don't think I've been on the edge of my seat more than during this movie.

Same here!  I had to pause it for a bio-break at one point, thinking we were halfway through and was surprised to see that there were only 20 minutes left!  Very, very engrossing, and that soundtrack is something else.  My sub was rumbling the whole time.  I also thought the cinematography was superb - very beautifully shot.

Yeah, The Drop is great.

I was reluctant to watch it, not a big fan of Tom Hardy.  But it was pretty good.

Sicario is the next movie I will watch, not sure if my wife will watch it.  She didn't watch the new Star Wars movie.

Haven't seen The Revenant, but the story of Hugh Glass was pretty epic.

Just saw Mad Max....holy crap what a great f%$king movie. It was loud, bright, colourful, violent, the cars were cool, the charachters were likeable and on the other hand just hateable(not a word, I know)....I cannot recommend this movie enough.

I thought it was pretty good.  But nothing I would want to own, a go to the theatre to see.  Great action, but certainly nothing epic from any of the actors.

I thought it was terrible. Similarly terrible to all the Transformer movies.  To me, a movie has to have more than just explosions.

But the cars were interesting.
