I love that I got a new job so soon after losing my last one. I hate that I have to drive into Toronto for (amazing and robust) training every day. 7 days down, three more to go. Ugh - so tired. I can't believe that some people do this every day, every week, all year round.
And I've only got to drive 27 kms one way, which takes an hour. Going home often takes longer. Today's drive home at rush hour was a nightmare, thanks to heavy rain.
In case you're wondering, GO train to Union Station and back was going to be $18.00/day, and I still needed to pay to get to my final destination, west of Union. Underground parking at the office was $12.00 a day, so I chose that route. Non-expensable. I can hack it for 10 days, but I'm glad it's almost over.
My normal daily commute as of Tuesday will be 18 km in the other direction, and will take less than 20 minutes. And parking is free.
