Here's a fantastic look at a very early Sonny & Cher.

I think this video shows an interesting truth about the duo.

The song is 50 years old. Unbelievable. I think this somewhat overproduced video clip is from 1965.

People wonder why an untalented singer like Sonny would have been paired with the extremely talented Cher. I think you can see it in this video.  Cher had crippling stage fright...seems impossible to believe now but it's true. Sonny was a succesful and respected record company executive and producer. He wasn't a performer. But his presence had a calming effect on Cher and made it much easier for her to sing in public. So they teamed up with Sonny's job to enable Cher's performance.

In this video, I think you can see that young Cher is just on the edge of discomfort. She doesn't look confident. She looks like somebody who needs some hand-holding.

listening to temples... enjoying it thus far. makes me think of tame impala and deerhunter with the mono type lo-fi sound. very listenable. nothing standing out as a great track, but no tracks i need to skip.

so far i've liked everything XMU has played.  Also watched them on YouTube - Live somewhere (can't remember) and they where great.
