Just five days ago, the ground was pretty much bare.  And now this.  :(

Looks like you have a loose piece of siding on that right hand wall, just about level with the upper part of your first storey windows.

Thanks for that, must of came loose with the high winds yesterday.

The amount of snow you guys get on the east coast in a single dump is crazy.  If we get 30cm that's considered a huge amount.  Take care out there.
Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.

To be fair, it's considered a lot here too. We don't get dumped on like this often. Usually if we get this much snow it's over a several day period.

I went out today and wasn't expecting much as it said "flurries". there was a snow squall warning but we don't pay much attention to that as most times it's nothing. Still isn't really. Just a normal dumping but yesterday after last week's storm was sunny and roads had cleared etc and I just laugh at the contrast today. My first thought was "Winters back!"  :rofl2:

Anyways, at least for us, here (Southern Ontario, below Owen Sound), this is just a normal winter. You guys down East are the ones I feel for because sais, it's more than you normally get.

This indeed!  We sold our snowmobiles many years ago because it was costing us a small fortune to trailer them up to snow country and then spending the weekend in hotels just to get some snow time.  We get even less here on the Fundy Coast.

I used to enjoy the snow a lot more when we had the huskies.  Our shih tzu just doesn't cut it in deep snow.  :)

Having said that, another 30cm forecasted for tonight and into tomorrow!  :P  Really glad i bought a bigger snow blower a couple of years ago!

Plus 16 in Edmonton today! Had some surprisingly good skiing after work.

Last Wednesday was -20 and I froze my fingers after an hour.

It was +8 or so yesterday when I left work. Even this morning when I left the house it was already +2.

Maple Creek was +18 yesterday.

Is that you Shane? Probably not unless you are from Minto.  http://globalnews.ca/news/3248916/bikini-clad-new-brunswick-man-plows-snow-on-atv-creates-viral-video/

Between this and the guys in Miramichi going through the drive thru on a couch tied behind an ATV, you just have to think:  NB is just plain awesome.

Frost on I29 this morning; a couple accidents already being reported.  I'll wait a couple hours before I head home.
