Yikes! Not hugely surprising though.
On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

Saturday, early morning drive down the 99 towards Seattle, fairly empty roads, moving at a healthy clip, got passed by a blacked-out MP4-12C spyder. Unbelievable sound, road presence and speed. It didn't seem to pass us all that fast, but the rate at which it shrank in my windshield was amazing.  :o

Pulling into work this morning I saw an absolutely mint Chevy Baretta... looked like it just came off the showroom floor!!  No time to snap a pic, plus I was half asleep & in shock.  I remember these being pretty cool cars back in the late 80's/early 90's when they first came out.  My parents actually owned the Chevy Corsica version with the 2.8V6 and boy did that thing pull that car around & it made the best sounds too.

The Baretta looked like this one in the pic.

Saw the aftermath of a bad highway accident a while ago.  There was a Subaru OBW way off in the ditch with the doors off and the rear end pushed up toward the rear seats and a tractor trailer with a smashed front end parked on the shoulder.  Seeing that I suspect the transport truck rear ended the Sub, but not sure if it was parked on the shoulder at the time of impact.  It was just before an off ramp.  ???

I'm pretty sure the people in the OBW endured an awful impact!!

By the Lorneville exit?  I thought that was a Matrix, but I admit I wasn't looking too closely.

I'm (almost) certain it was an OBW.

Hit so hard that it looked like a Matrix, LOL.  I just assumed that with the short back end it was a Matrix, LOL.

I always wondered about the meetings that went into the decision to go with TBMs.

"We need water bombers."
"Bombers, got it."

Weeks later

"So what's you get for spray planes?"
"Got a bunch of TBM Avengers."
"You bought carrier torpedo bombers?"
"YOU WEREN'T SPECIFIC! DON'T JUDGE ME!"

 ;D

Knowing how KC Irving did everything, more like, 'Let's buy all these surplus war items for pennies on the dollar, and then figure out what we'll do with them'.

They bought all kinds of surplus landing craft and such, and used the diesel engines to power all sorts of things for decades.

They were cool, and you could actually see out of them too. Saw a similar monochrome white (and rust) Grand Am GT this morning.

Yesterday, a pure '70s Honda CB750 in metallic yellow & white.

Haven't seen one of these in a while.  It actually hurt my eyes looking at it in the sun!  Not to my taste, but the old guy driving it seemed to be enjoying himself.  8)

ahh... more of a rare colour there... was meant to be called aztec gold, but then the pontiac aztec came out and no one wanted any affiliation with that thing, so it became inca gold...

What a turd of a car.  All show..and no go.  FFS...they should have at least put a V8 in it so it at least had the sound of a hot rod.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Saw another R3 twin at work today......didn't recognise the yellow colour scheme though. Found out it was an accessory kit.

Accessory kit or part of their 60th Anniversary bikes?  I know there were several bikes (R1, R6, Tenere, FZ9, etc) that you could get in this paint scheme for the 60th Anniversary

That's what I first thought too, but for sure the R3 was never offered from the factory in the yellow/60th anniversaire scheme.

Stopped to pick up my wife after work.  I pulled up to the curb, and waited for her.  A woman came over to the passenger side, and asked if I was waiting for someone. I forgot that's hooker street.

That happened to a friend of mine while he was waiting for his wife at the same spot, the woman jumped right in his car.  Had a heck of a time getting her out.

Almost happened to me at work one night when a girl tried to jump in my truck. Good thing it was locked!  I had my coffee cup on the dash and that is their cue according to my cop buddy.  :P
