For sure. No warranty anymore so any other reassembly screwups would be the buyers problem

I think from what I read, powertrain is 7 years or 110,000 km. I feel really bad for whoever ends up with that car.

Fortunately, my dad isn't in a rush so he will likely spend some time to go and drive a Touareg, Cayenne and a better sorted RX. I also suggested an Audi Allroad. Love the idea of a wagon over a crossover.

You say you are young and you are still using google maps
Waze is better than google maps ,
Rx can already receive text messages

???  Uhh... no.  Despite working from the same mapping system, Waze is not great for navigation directions / nor choosing the smartest route the way Google Maps does.  The only benefit to Waze is the user-based data for speed traps and road hazards.

Not a fan of Waze either. The timing of when it gives you directions is horrible. Missed a lot of turns using it in Costa Rica. No issue when we switched back to Google maps.

Yup, as a radar detector, it works fine, but as a navigation tool, Google is better.

Why does Waze suck for nav when Google owns them?

Why doesn't the Cayman have as much power as the 911?

Yup... one popped up on my Google map this morning which helped save my bacon, but it's not as reliable as Waze yet.

That's due to users though, right?

Bit of an update. My dad found a well kept Certified 2017 Ridgeline Touring at a local Honda dealer. He had Gen 1 Ridgeline for a few years and really liked his time with it.

Came and went for a drive with him the other day. Very nice driving truck. Lots of improvements over the Gen 1 Ridgeline he had previously. While the Ridgeline is a bit different than what he was initially looking for, and he doesn't need a truck, it sure blends the attributes of an SUV, car and truck together to make it a very easy vehicle to live with for everyday driving and chores around the house.

Dealer it just getting it cleaned up and serviced so he put a deposit down in the interim. Seems like the used market in general is crazy hot. The sales advisor at Honda indicated production shortages and very little inventory. It was the only Ridgeline (new or used) they had on the lot and they are a bigger dealer.

Well as long as he is happy.  Definitely a change from the luxury offering but it's definitely a great truck for a person who doesn't need a truck.
