I'm seeing lots of NXs around here lately but the RX still rules over all others.  Mercedes SUVs are next followed by BMW and Audi.  Just a spattering of Lincolns and I saw my first Cadilac XT5 a couple of weeks ago.  Quite a few Slades around though.

There's no local BMW or Audi dealer but there seems to be more BMWs around than Audis.  What makes it an even worse showing for the domestics is that they both have local dealers here, but I still see way more BMWs and Audis around despite the dealers each being about 140km away.

Think about who owns the GM dealership here.  ::)

I couldn't tell ya if I've seen an NX....but the RC is the queen of the well to do, Lulu Lemon clad soccer mom and the blue hairs around here. Not my style but only an idiot would deny their success.

I think it looks cool as hell.  But then I think the RX looks cool as hell.

The RX rules my burb and I like the looks of the newest one a lot.  It's a nice move away from the "looks like all the other SUVs" styling that really began to take over the segment.  While the styling might be polarizing among enthusiasts, I think the sales numbers show that the general public like it.

Yes but it doesn't have $10K on the sticker, depreciate like a stone, or have torque vectoring like the Buick!

2016 Buick Envision apprecitaed $2,000 checking cars dot com for new/used NX and Envision  from 2016 as that is when they were first introduced.  The NX200T AWD depreciated $7,000 since 2016.

No Buick Envision has ever appreciated.

A 2016 Envision is not worth more today than it was brand new.

There are a ton of NXs in Edmonton and area. There is no question they are selling well in Alberta, and they outnumber the new RX in our southwest quadrant of the city. There are also plenty of new RXs, to be clear. I see both of them numerous times a day in our area.

I don't mind them at all, and I strongly disagree with whoever said you have to be tiny to fit into the seats. I am not tiny and they were perfectly fine in every way for me.

Odd, I rarely see NXs around here. Closest dealer is in Saint John, an hour away.

I'm surprised by how many F-Paces and newer Land Rovers there are running around Fredericton, considering the closest dealer is in Halifax (four hours away).

Not many here either.

I honestly don't think i could differentiate the RX or the NX from each other, so I don't know.

The NX is not "everywhere" around the GTA, but it's not a unicorn, either.  I've never seen a 2016 Buick Envision Premium II anywhere - literally have never seen one in my life.

The NX is a fancy version of the Rav4.  It's a good size for most.  The only downside to me is the price, but otherwise I'd entirely consider buying one to replace the Forester if pricing was identical 2.0T to 2.0T.

Well keep in mind the NX has been around since late 2014 while the Envision was released just last year.

Anyway NormT just go away. Your attempts to bash every non GM product is tiring at best.

I had to google it as well...no idea what an Envision is and I can't think I've seen one.

I don't doubt that there are lots of NXs on the road here, but I've never actually seen one. I've also only seen maybe a couple of RXs, so I think it's more a question of me just not noticing them being willfully blind to that egregious assault on my eyes. When I do happen to see an RX, I throw up a little in my mouth.  :P

And I have no idea about that Buick thing. I'm sure I see a million blobby CUVs every day, but they all kind of blend into one: Chevy, Buick, Kia, Hyundai, Honda, whatever... all basically the same thing to me.

Fixed it for you.

My friend got the NX200t when it first came out.  He not regrets it because the cargo area is too small for his family's needs.  He has one of those larger strollers that basically takes up the whole floor so everything else has to be stacked on top.  He since bought a smaller stroller just because of that.

Interior volume up front is not bad for his ~178cm, ~80kg frame, but it was tight for me at 186cm, 100kg.

i don't mind the size as i don't need anything big (i do drive a Rio5, so that should be obvious)...as i said before, my only "concern" is it seems quite expensive for what it is.

I'm wondering about this.  Is it overpriced, or just expensive?

On the one hand, you can get the same powertrain in lesser cars, right?  Um, no...not really - Camry Hybrid (closest use) is not AWD.  The Rav4 Hybrid is, but then it's also over $40k loaded, which isn't as "loaded" as the NX300h.  In the case of the 2.0T AWD, same argument - no lesser car has that powertrain.

Interior refinements?  No reviewer has said that it's not a Lexus interior.

Available features?  Same thing.

I would say that the cost of entry into Lexus is simply expensive, but in the higher end, it's a relative bargain compared to the highly-optioned German marques.
